Carina Romano:

I have a Fine Art Degree in Photography and Art History from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. I have been shooting weddings since 2002 and established Love Me Do Photography with my partner Amanda in 2008.

I am half Chinese and my Asian background influences how I approach and photograph weddings. Personally, while growing up, I did not meet or know any other mixed kids, so I get excited when I get the opportunity to work with mixed couples. I can offer a unique perspective and experienced approach to how I work with my mixed clients (and their families), while respecting cultural traditions.

I firmly believe that each human is unique and a fascinating individual. I aim to capture you as your individual self, to tell your personal story, and to allow you to take in each moment throughout your day. I photograph in a documentary style, taking pictures of all parts of your wedding, so that you can relive those memories you shared with your family and friends.

A bit about me personally: I have two dogs and a partner (Brian) that are my life. My dogs names are Nanuq (shiba-inu) and Chamillionaire (aka “Millie,” a yellow lab). Our studio is in Fishtown and I love Philadelphia. I enjoy spending my free time vintage shopping and working on projects - fixing old things, painting furniture, DIY-ing. I watch a lot of Korean dramas. I’d rather buy local and handmade than anything else. I support other small businesses, especially woman and minority owned, and I love to snack on the many food options that our city has to offer. I also share a cabin in the Catskills with my business partner, Amanda, and our friend Kate.
