Looking back on 2020 | Favorite Moments and Photos

Hi, 2021! We feel inclined to ask, ‘Where did the year go?’, but we know it felt slow as molasses at times. What started off as a normal few months of joyous, seamless weddings, quickly changed to plans being altered every other day. Our heart broke many times this year, for our clients who couldn’t catch a break, for those more harshly impacted by the pandemic, and for our unsettled country.

Just like every industry, the wedding industry saw a huge change in how we worked. And a pivot to more intimate gatherings made our jobs possible! Al fresco dinners and micro weddings became our normal weekends. When we look back, our 2020 ended up being filled with waterfall elopements, ceremonies in childhood backyards, and on top of Philly roof decks. These more private celebrations felt so special in their own way.

We are so grateful for our many gracious couples that truly had to be flexible this year. And we’d be nowhere without the solidarity of the venues and wedding vendors who worked to keep everyone safe throughout the season. Our wish is for this year to bring some lighter days, that end in large, carefree celebrations! Fingers crossed for a brighter 2021! Thanks for taking a look back with us!
