Tricia Farley:

I joined Love Me Do as an intern in 2012 while completing my BFA in Photography from Tyler School of Art.  The beauty of our background is the ability to bring a fine art perspective to a wedding day.  Although I may have started as an intern a decade ago, I’ve since become a core member of the team. I’ve learned the ins and outs of the craft and have been able to bring my own unique perspective in a way that is complementary to our style.

Working in a documentary-based style, my main goal on a wedding day is for you to be able to look back at your images and think “This is us. This is who we are as a couple.”  Whether that be fun and playful, soft and romantic, or stoic and composed.  Some people like to play around with posing, others like to be captured just as they are. Every couple is different, and I want to help create an environment that encourages you to bring forth your personal energy.  To me, it’s important that your wedding isn’t about the photographs, but that your photographs tell the story of your wedding day.  I am a firm believer in communication and that working together is a team effort, which enables me to better capture the day as you see it.

A little more about me: The most important thing to me is family, and I am so grateful to be a part of a big, loving, crazy crew. I love spending time with them and my boyfriend, Mike.  Summertime is hands down the best time of year.  I prefer to spend it outside, whether it be relaxing with a book or exploring nature.  I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, pretending everything I make is worthy of Chopped.  Other than wedding photography, I spend a lot of my time working behind the scenes, with both editing and retouching. This allows me to work “on the go” so that I can enjoy more time with my loved ones, as well as take advantage of opportunities to travel.
