Mo and Chris | 11.21.10 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

Mo and Chris were married at Ridley Creek State Park, one of our most favorite places to photograph weddings. What was a special treat was that we’ve never photographed there in the fall, and I must say it was stunning there! The couple decided on a vintage 40’s feel and look to the wedding, and everyone looked so good! Flowers were purchased off Etsy from seller, JoeNet2. Even though the wedding vibe was un-traditional, there were many traditions that went into the day. For instance, the diamond tennis bracelet Mo wore was her grandmother’s, that is given to each woman of the family to wear when she gets married. The couple picked Ridley Creek because of the natural beauty of the venue. Also, Chris is a stone mason by trade and loves historic stone buildings. There’s a romantic feel to thinking about who made the building, the skill it took to cut each stone, the history.
And a little bit more from Mo, the bride:
“My favorite part of the day was obviously any time I spent with Chris. Being able to sneak away to smooch for pictures was awesome, it was great to just look at him and reflect on the reason we were there and enjoy the peace of the woods together. “
Thanks Mo and Chris for having us there to photograph your wedding!
