RACHEL AND STACEY | 6.27.10 | PHOTOGRAPHY BY CARINA

Rachel and Stacey were married at Bartram’s Gardens. Photographer, Inna Spivakova, second shot for me. Although Bartrams had been hit by a major storm just days before the wedding, everything came together beautifully! Rachel and Stacey’s supportive friends and family surrounded them on this gorgeous day, and it was clear that all of their loved ones were so excited for the union between the two of them. I really love the natural beauty of Bartram’s Gardens and it reflected so well the love between Rachel and Stacey. Their casual personalities made them great subjects for photographs, and it was hard to get a picture of Stacey when it wasn’t gazing lovingly into Rachel’s eyes.

Thanks Rachel and Stacey for having us photograph your wedding!

Jackie and I (Carina) became friends in kindergarden. We lost touch sometime in highschool but reconnected when she got engaged, and I happened to be a wedding photographer! Even though we haven’t kept in touch over the years, it was really great to be able to shoot her wedding. Jackie looked so beautiful and Chris seemed like the perfect man for her to be with. The wedding ceremony took place in our childhood church in northeast Philadelphia, and the reception was at the gorgeous Normandy Farms.

Congratulations Jackie and Chris, and thank you for having us photograph your wedding!

Josh and Liz were married at the first presbyterian church of Bridesburg a few weekends ago. It was a funny coincidence that Liz had e-mailed me asking about wedding photography, unbeknownst to her that I had been friends with Josh for some years already. I’m so glad even though we are friends, they chose our photography based on the images, and not just the connections.

Liz and Josh are such beautiful people inside and out, I was glad to be able to shoot their wedding. All the info concerning decisions and details on the wedding can be found on Liz’s adorable blog: Chic on the Cheap.

Some awesome items of note: Liz and Josh decided to do an all dessert reception. Everything looked so good! There were cupcakes, cakes, mini-cakes, brownies, candies, and so much more. Drinks included champagne, coffee, and warm apple cider! There was a candy station, where you can fill a bag to take with you, and so many other cute items and stations throughout the room. We had a ball taking photos of everything the first half hour before everyone arrived.

Also, Liz had a “send-off” dress, where she adorned herself with a birdcage veil and vintage suitcase, as they rode off in a classic car. Pretty awesome.

Thanks Liz and Josh for having us photograph your wedding!

Mike and Jojo’s wedding last weekend was a blast! Their ceremony and reception was at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, a venue that holds amazing concerts (which I frequent), and also doubles as a restaurant with some really great food! Jojo looked stunning in her dress, and Mike made us feel right at home with his outgoing and friendly personality! It was a lot fun to say the least, we’re glad to have captured the day for such a great couple!

Thanks Mike and Jojo for having us shoot your wedding!

Colin and Sarah, Wow! Colin was a former classmate of ours in college. After Amanda and I graduated, Colin followed in our footsteps (also the footsteps of his own dad!) pursuing photography. It was such a treat to photograph his wedding with so many other photographers around! Not to mention, Sarah looked absolutely stunning in her 1940’s (I believe) dress. What else can I say other than the pictures speak for themselves.

Thanks Colin and Sarah for having us photograph your wedding!
