Sarah and Kevin | Engagement shoot | Photography by Carina

Sarah and Kevin are getting married the week after I am, and I couldn’t be more excited to photograph their wedding! The chemistry they have together is alive in every photograph, in every glace they give each other, and every smile. We went around parts of Fairmount Park and the Horticulture Center, which is near where they will be married in a month and a half.

You might remember Lois and Eddie from their engagement shoot I photographed late last year. We absolutely loved working with Lois and Eddie. They are so sweet and cute together, nearly every move was made with a smile or a happy tear in their eyes. They are the type of couple that makes you want to fall in love all over again! Lois and Eddie were married in a Korean church just outside the city, and held their reception at PÊCHE at Sherman Mills where they had their second ceremony, a Korean Paebeck. Their superb videographers, Moetic Wedding Films, did a same-day edit, and lots of tears were shed while everyone watched. Amanda and I were joined by our incredible team of shooters, Kate McCann and Jen Woodruff. Thanks Lois and Eddie for having us photograph your wonderful wedding! Now, enjoy their highlight film by Moetic Wedding Films!

Heather and Greg | 11.10.12 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

Heather and Greg were married at the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia and held their reception at The Please Touch Museum. Heather wore a stunning Reem Acra dress with DIY glittered Seychelles shoes. Her hair was styled by Head Area Salon and make up by Face the Occasion. Dinner was catered by Brulee Catering, flowers designed by Beautiful Blooms, and music provided by Adam of Lovesick Inc. Heather, a very talented graphic designer, designed all the paper goods herself.

We loved shooting Heather and Greg’s wedding. Not only was each location more stunning than the next, the couple really let us get as creative as we wanted with the photos. Normally we do most of our portraits outdoors, but with winter around the corner and an early sunset, we had to stay mostly indoors. But when you have venues like these, that’s not a problem! The entire day was executed so beautifully, and the party was a lot of fun. Thanks Heather and Greg for having us photograph your wedding!

Lois and Eddie | Engagement Shoot | Photographed by Carina

Lois and Eddie are getting married next March in Philadelphia, but in the meantime I met up with them in Lancaster at Cherry Hill Orchards for a short engagement shoot. There’s something about this season I really love, with the fading sunlight and leafless trees, it’s very ethereal. I really loved getting to know them a little better over the course of this shoot and I’m really excited to photograph their wedding in a few months!

Thanks Lois and Eddie!

Kara and Rob | 10.28.12 | photographed by Carina and Amanda

Kara and Rob were marred at Cairnwood Estate, which is becoming one of our favorite venues! We loved the old world feel of the mansion, and Kara and Rob really made the space their own with florals and styling by Sullivan Owen. The music was provided by Sugartown Industries. We were a little worried about the impending hurricane Sandy coming our way, but it didn’t dampen the night at all. Thanks Kara and Rob for having us photograph your awesome wedding!

Michael and Megan | 10.6.12 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

Michael and Megan’s wedding reception took place at Terrain at Styers. We spent some time before guests arrived to take some photos of the two of them around the property, which is bursting full of inspiration. One piece we couldn’t get over was the fabulous floral wall by Sullivan Owen Floral & Event Design, who also made all of the terrariums which decorated the dinner tables. Event coordination was by Rebecca Richman of Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants and vintage chairs and lounges were provided by Maggpie Vintage Rentals.

Michael and Megan had so many personal touches to the event. Their cake, made by Charm City Cakes, was a paint-by-number portraying scenes of Philadelphia, in which their guests decorated themselves. Michael is a super talented painter, so they made paint swatch color wheels for the guests place cards and paint-by-number invitations and RSVP cards.
