Kim and Matt Engagement, photographed by Carina
Kim and Matt are getting married next weekend. These engagement pictures were slow in coming, because I had them finished over a month ago. This season is really busy and it slipped my mind to post these.
Anyway, Kim and Matt let me have full reign over their engagement session. Kim is an accordion player, and Matt works with Big Brothers, Big Sisters. We brain stormed for a couple of weeks. I wanted to make sure we were able to photograph them doing what they love to do together. “Matt loves to cook, so we could do a couple in the kitchen. I love my cat. Matt loves bocce ball.”
We decided to hit up three different locations: Kim’s house, Kim’s work (accordion repair shop), and Linvilla Orchards. Much of our women’s wardrobe and props were provided by Sweet Tooth Vintage, all of the snacks used were from Whole Foods, and the wine from Trader Joe’s.
I can’t wait until Amanda and I photograph their wedding next weekend!
