Love Me Do Photography

Adeeba and Umar were married at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Cherry Hill. Adeeba wore a gorgeous pink Madiha Zuberi Design House dress with hair by Just B Beautiful. The wedding was beautifully styled by Colleen and Lauren of Belovely Events complete with diy paper flowers and streamer backdrop for the ceremony.

We loved the cultural aspects of this wedding so much. The “aarsi” mirror ring is traditionally worn on the thumb of the bride so they could sneak a look of their groom during the ceremony. It is an old fashioned but now quaint symbol of the past. The “baarat” is when the groom enters the ceremony with his family and they are welcomed with fresh rose petals making the room smell wonderful! The bride and groom were also adorned with fragrant flower garlands by the bride’s mother. And our favorite was the stealing the groom’s shoes as ransom, for which the bride’s sisters and friends negotiate a big wad of cash!

Corrine and Chris were married at the Inn at Fernbrook in Chesterfield, NJ. How amazing is Corrine’s crown of flowers?!

Adeeba and Umar held their traditional Paebeck (Korean Tea Ceremony) the night before their wedding day and I was fortunate enough to have the chance to photograph this beautiful cultural tradition! What’s better than a ceremony that ends with the groom giving the bride a piggy-back ride? Not to mention the tug of war between the Bride and Groom and all of the children present. Adeeba’s brother and friends also performed a dance for the couple. I’m excited to share day 2 of the wedding on our blog soon!

Who doesn’t love a bride in glasses? Matt and Kellyann’s super cute wedding took place at one of our favorite venues of all time, Colonial Dames in Philadelphia. We adore Matt and Kellyann’s personality and all the fun shots that came out of photographing them together. Kellyann wore a stunning Elizabeth Dye dress and the day was catered by Birchtree Catering. We also loved how they ended the night with a colorful sparkler send off and get away in a pedi-cab!

Michelle and Marc’s wedding at Radnor Hunt was simply beautiful. So much so that we nearly forgot about the massive storm that hit halfway through the day! That didn’t deter us from getting some great pictures regardless. Michelle and Marc are too cute together. Marc’s fun personality helped in making Michelle laugh and smile, we couldn’t stop snapping pictures! Michelle hand picked decor from Borrowed and Blue Vintage Rentals.
