Love Me Do Photography

Susan and Don were so extremely fun to work with! Their wedding at The Old Mill was beautiful! We spent a lot of time with the two of them and their bridal party mixing fun shots with more serious ones, allowing us to get a really great range of images. Our DJ friends, Roots and Groove, were there to provide music, and beautiful florals were designed by Fresh Designs. The night ended with the dance floor erupting for Fiesta by the Pogues with a Jamison bottle being passed around, because of the couple’s love of the Pogues and in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Overall it was a great night and we’re very grateful for Susan and Don having us there to photograph their wedding!

Elissa and Nic’s wedding was definitely one of a kind. The couple had a Quaker style ceremony at the Friends Center and reception at the German Society. With about 7 blocks between the two venues, the couple was escorted by all of their friends on bicycles, parading down Spring Garden Street. The couple’s friends were heavily involved with the planning and styling of the wedding. Flowers designed by Cottage Floral Design and music by Holly Sue, aka DJ Snak Pak. Elissa’s wedding dress was handmade by Kirby Mckensie of Job and Boss. We had a lot of fun with Elissa and Nic, as well as their family and friends. The whole night was just a great celebration!

Robyn and Jeff are getting married this October at the Audubon Center, one of our favorite venues! We did some engagement photos out at Valley Forge park, a place they go to often and also where they got engaged. Robyn and Jeff are such a fun couple and I’m super excited to shoot their wedding!

Cathleen and Joe were married at the Downtown Club in Philadelphia, PA. We were so lucky to have a day with amazing weather and luckily the cherry blossom trees were still in bloom- my favorite! I had an absolute pleasure working with Cathleen and Joe! And a big thank you to my amazing second shooter, Monika!

Nate and Aksana’s wedding at the Smithville Inn in New Jersey was a lot of fun to photograph! Nate was a groomsman in a past wedding we shot a few years ago, so we were really excited when he came to us to photograph his wedding this year. The Inn was a really great location to shoot, with a carousel, lake, toy train, and various other cute spots and shops that we took advantage of for photos. The reception was filled with friends and family celebrating, including a music set of Russian songs for Aksana and her friends and family to enjoy!

Smita and Axel are getting married later this year and they asked us to meet them in NYC for their engagement shoot. We went around to the West Village, the Highline, and the Meat Packing District for photos. The couple also stopped by Magnolia Bakery for some cupcakes too! It was really great seeing the two of them interact. We’re excited for their wedding in Philadelphia later this year!
