Jessica and Doug | Day Before Shoot | Photographed by Carina and Amanda

Jessica and Doug flew in from LA a few days before the wedding here in Philadelphia, and decided to do a small photoshoot with us. Since the wedding was going to have a more elegant feel, Jess and Doug wanted to do this shoot in more urban environments that they would not be able to go to the day of the wedding. We had a great time running around to different locations with them. They have such a nice chemistry between each other, and evoking that was not hard because they are just so clearly in love! Stay tuned for their wedding photos in the next week or so!
Mandy and Adam | 8.20.11 | Photography by Nadine

Mandy and Adam were married at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia. I loved Mandy’s look with her cute haircut and vintage style lace gown. We had amazing natural light during the ceremony and portrait session. And the night topped off with an Elvis impersonator, who sang his classics and made everyone swoon. It was definitely one of the coolest things I’ve seen at a wedding reception! I was accompanied by my second shooter, Amanda.
Thank you so much Mandy and Adam!

Taylor and Jeremy’s New Hampshire wedding was just so adorable. Besides how cute the location and decor were, Taylor looked amazing as she walked around barefoot all day. The ceremony was especially sweet- Taylors sibling’s found a free piano on craigslist and they all played “om nashi me” (the song that Jeremy proposed to Taylor to, on stage at a Edward Sharpe concert) as she walked down the aisle. As the night went on, there was a huge bonfire, s’mores, and lots of dancing! Thanks Taylor and Jeremy for having us at your awesome wedding!
Rachel and Mark | 8.21.11 | Photography by Nadine

Rachel and Mark were married at one my favorite locations, the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove, PA. I was accompanied my trusty second shooter Monika Broz. The romantic and natural atmosphere of this location lent so well to look of this wedding. The little feather is from Rachel’s late and special pet parrot. Luckily, Rachel and Mark did a “first look”, and we got amazing photos before the ceremony. Rachel, your a natural model! There was a downpour of rain during the ceremony and reception, but everyone cozied up together and we had a great time shooting.
Thank you so much Rachel and Mark!

Faith and Chris | 8.20.11 | Photographed by Carina

Faith is a good friend of mine I met several years ago while I was volunteering at Neighborhood Bike Works in Philadelphia. Right off the bat I could feel her fun-loving nature and charm. Fast forward a number of years and I heard she was getting married so I offered to photograph the wedding. Not only did Faith and Chris pull off a killer wedding, she did it while being 7 months pregnant as well! The couple picked the perfect location for their love of the outdoors, Camp Brockway in Pratt’s Falls. Her dress was handmade, and friends provided the music during cocktail hour. It was a really special day, and I was glad I was able to celebrate with them. Thanks Faith and Chris for having me there to photograph your wedding!

Mira and Hal | 8.06.11 | photographed by Carina and Amanda

Working on Mira and Hal’s wedding was such a pleasure. With an all-star Philadelphia weddings line-up, we knew we couldn’t go wrong. Beka from Styled Creative, Love n Fresh flowers, Beke Beau makeup, and Peachtree and Ward catering all did amazing jobs. Mira and Hal were so much fun while we took photos. They make each other laugh and smile so much, it was really sweet to watch. The wedding location at Andalusia was gorgeous and the funk band that played had all the guests dancing late into the evening. Thanks Mira and Hal, we had so much fun with the two of you!
