Cynthia and Eben | 7.17.2011 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

Eben and Cynthia’s wedding last month was at one of our favorite places in the Catskills, The Full Moon Resort. You can never go wrong with the gorgeous landscape of New York State. Eben and Cynthia’s story was an epic love story which took them 20 years, and we were honored to be there to photograph the culmination of it all! The two of them are perfect for each other, and it showed in every aspect of the wedding day. They were such fun to photograph as well, constantly smiling at each other, making it easy to photograph them!

Thanks Even and Cynthia for having us there on your wedding day!

Marissa and Chris | 7.16.2011 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

Marissa and Chris had a sweet intimate wedding. They have know each other since grade school and it was so sweet hearing stories of when they met at the bus stop. There were lots of cute handmade details, either by the bride and groom or by artisans on etsy. They had a awesome soundtrack to their day as well: A good friend and member of the bridal party is in a string quartet, so they played for the ceremony. Chris and the guys walked out to “Come as You Are” by Nirvana. Jesse Oliveri played during the cocktail hour and also played instrumental versions of some awesome 90s alt rock songs. And of course Hi Society did an awesome job getting everyone to dance outside in a beautifully lit courtyard behind the barn. Thanks Marissa and Chris for having us be a part of your day!!

Coco, Dave and I spent an afternoon taking photos of them at the Love Letter Murals in West Philadelphia. The murals are on various buildings between 48th and 63rd on Market St. They are mostly meant to be seen from the elevated train, so we took the train out and got some fun shots of them on the platform and in the cars. Coco and Dave are both so cute and fun it was easy to photography them. Thanks guys, I had a blast doing these photos!

Chrissy and Todd | 7.9.2011 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

We began the day with Chrissy and Todd taking photographs in Valley Forge National Park. It was a beautiful day and we got some great shots of this good looking couple in the tall grass and log cabins. We then traveled to a friend’s private home where the ceremony and reception took place. It was a beautiful ceremony, followed by a relaxed and fun reception, including lawn games such as croquet and corn hole. One of the most unique parts of the day were the two huge pigs walking around during the reception! It was a beautiful day and we had a ton of fun with Chrissy and Todd. Thanks Chrissy and Todd for having us there to photograph your day!

Sam and Dave | 7.2.11 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

Sam and Dave were married last month at Running Deer Country Club and everything about it was terrific! The couple met when they were just kids growing up and have been together ever since! It was clear to us as we worked with them, that they were truly meant for one another. Sam and Dave’s personal style was a part of every detail of the day, and super cute if I might say so myself!

We were happy to work along side with some other great wedding professionals: Hi Society Productions who both DJ-ed and filmed the event.

Justin and Ali | 7.3.11 | Photography by Carina and Amanda

You might remember Justin and Ali from their engagement pictures I photographed a few months ago.

Justin and Ali were married last month at the Pearl S. Buck House. The estate was beautiful and the perfect location for an elegant wedding. Close friends and family came out to support Justin and Ali and made the night one to remember. As cocktail hour started, a HUGE thunderstorm rolled in, forcing everyone into the reception tent. We immediately lost electricity, which continued to be out for the next few hours. But that did not stop the party. Ali’s band, Philly Bloco played the reception and there’s nothing like Brazilian drumming to get everyone on the dance floor! Another highlight was Justin and Ali’s first dance, in which they reenacted the final dance from Dirty Dancing, and got their friends to join in.

Thanks Justin and Ali for having us there to photograph your wedding!
