Love Me Do Photography

Carina and I are shooting Matt and Shannon’s wedding this coming September in Lancaster, PA. We recently got together to do some pre-wedding photos. Unfortunately, we picked a really rainy day to do the photos. We had just enough time to walk around their neighborhood and take some photos of them with their dog, Yoshi, and then some in the playground down the street. Then it started pouring! Matt and Shannon were really good sports about getting rained on and I think we got some good shots.

Laura and Oliver were married in Elizabeth, NJ followed by the reception at Seasons in Washington Township, NJ. I was told they love silly photos, so Monika Broz and I were able to get lots of laughs out of them. I adore Laura’s look with her red lips and birdcage veil.

Linda and Rob had a wonderful laid-back party and one of the coolest ceremonies ever. We had to walk (or get driven by van) through the woods, and up a huge hill out in Pennsylvania farmland. The ceremony had the most beautiful view of the surrounding area. They also did a native american blanket ceremony, which I really loved. Then, they had a yummy vegan bbq. Linda collected tons of little tchotchkes and vintage table clothes for decorating. It made for a perfect atmosphere for the rest of the day.

Mary and Matthew had a rustic chic wedding at Prallsville Mill in Stockton, NJ. They had lots of cool details from the centerpieces full of wildflowers and vintage books to the vegan dinner and vegan cupcakes! Thanks to my great second shooter, Geri Nelson.

Carly and Sean were married last month on the beach in Sea Isle City. The couple met in Sea Isle and got engaged on 75th street beach, which ended up being the location of the wedding as well! Everything about the wedding promoted a laid back day at the beach, which was just as the couple wanted. Carly looked stunning in her JCrew dress and the bridesmaid’s wore awesome summery dresses from Thread in NYC. Our favorite part was going to FunLand with the bridal party and having Carly and Sean go down the Fun Slide!
