Love Me Do Photography

Ben and Elizabeth were married in Plymouth, MA, at Elizabeth’s parents house which overlooks the beach. Everything was so peaceful and relaxed about this wedding, it was like we were on vacation! Also a treat was that Ben’s family and friends from England trekked all the way over the ocean to be a part of their wedding. Everyone was in such great spirits, it was impossible to think that anyone wasn’t enjoying themselves. The music was provided by Elizabeth’s brother, and later in the evening, a karaoke machine was let loose!

We’ve been getting alot of blog-love lately from other websites and individuals with awesome wedding blogs… and we love it! It’s super encouraging to see our pictures appear of other people’s blogs, letting us know that they like our work. One thing I would ask though, is if you have a wedding website or blog, and would like to post a wedding that we photographed on it, can you please notify/ask us when you do? We really have no problem with any of it, we just really would like to see them first-hand/know about them as they go up/get all the information (and photo credit) correct before sending them out there. We could also get you in touch with the bride and groom themselves if you’d like more information on their unique weddings!

I had an awesome time at Anne and Pat’s weekend bash in Washington DC. This was my first wedding in DC that I second shot it for Berit of Images By Berit. She and her assistant Carly, were an absolute pleasure to work with. The ceremony was at a cute chapel at Georgetown University followed by a ceremony at the Four Seasons (amazing food, amazing decor!). Thanks for letting me be part of your big day Anne and Pat!

Matt and Bess are good friends of ours that happily got married a few weeks ago. The wedding was spectacular, of course, as they are pretty spectacular themselves. They were married at Ridley Creek State Park. Friends provided all of the vendor services: Megin Sherry made Bess’ beautiful lace wedding dress, Amanda Staples did all of the flower arrangements, Nikki Kleinberg catered the “build your own burrito” bar, Daniel Pilger DJ-ed the reception, and Lois Keenan, Greg Jehanian, Daniel Snook, and Marlee Shaffer performed the music during the ceremony. (Correct me if I missed anything!) It’s really great when you can get your friends and family to participate in every detail of your wedding, making it truly original, and truly your own. We were very happy to photograph Matt and Bess’ wedding, and even brought along our “photobooth” to get individual fun portraits of guests.
