Mike and Jojo’s wedding last weekend was a blast! Their ceremony and reception was at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, a venue that holds amazing concerts (which I frequent), and also doubles as a restaurant with some really great food! Jojo looked stunning in her dress, and Mike made us feel right at home with his outgoing and friendly personality! It was a lot fun to say the least, we’re glad to have captured the day for such a great couple!

Thanks Mike and Jojo for having us shoot your wedding!

Katie and Fred had a shore wedding in Avalon, NJ at The Golden Inn Hotel. I was so excited for their wedding and the chance to take some “AWESOME” beach pictures of them. “AWESOME” was the word of the day, even covering their customized beer koozie for all the guests. We had talked about doing sunset beach pictures, but it turned out to rain during most of the day. However, fear not! With Katie and Fred’s optimism we were able to do a session when they were relaxed at the end of the wedding. Katie and Fred were an absolutely sweet couple, and I very much enjoyed working with them.

Kerry and Tim’s wedding on the 4th of July was amazing! The wedding took place on the Makin Farm (Kerry’s family), in beautiful central PA. It was seriously wonderful to get out of the city for this… we don’t get to spend much time in beautiful landscapes too often! I loved how everything about their wedding was casual and toned down, yet showing that they really know how to have a good time. Kerry and Tim had all sorts of things ready for their guests, from various lawn games, to fireworks and sparklers! The food was mostly from Wegmans (love!), and the desserts were handmade by various family members and friends (and seriously so so good!). The flowers were all grown and displayed by Kerry’s mom, and were simply breathtaking in their very cute mason jars as the centerpieces.

We got along so well with Kerry and Tim, that they felt like old friends of ours. We were so glad to have photographed their wedding, and we hope they love the pictures!

Thanks Kerry and Tim for having us shoot your wedding!

DJ and Jill’s wedding narrowly escaped a torrential downpour that ran through the town the day before. Luckily, the day of the wedding could not have been more beautiful! I loved everything about DJ and Jill’s style thoughout their wedding. They decided to hand make their invitations and programs, and all the vendors they used were either local businesses or friends of theirs. The way they planned out their day was super original and it was easy to see that the main focus was on being together with their friends and family, celebrating a great occasion!

Thanks DJ and Jill for having me photograph your wedding!

David and Zoe were married in one of my favorite spots: Tyler Arboretum in Media, Pa. First off, Zoe looked stunning from the moment we arrived! Then as the weather forecast told us it would rain the entire day, it magically cleared up just as we arrived to the arboretum, allowing us to get some amazing shots. (It helped that Zoe was also super optimistic.) Also, an even better treat was, halfway through the reception, a giant double rainbow appeared in the sky and we were able to get a few shots of the newly wed couple in front of that as well! David and Zoe are an absolutely sweet couple with wonderful friends and family, and we very much enjoyed working with them throughout their day.

Thanks David and Zoe for having us photograph your wedding!
