Love Me Do Photography is looking for a regular Second Shooter!

Could this be you?

We are looking for a reliable, dependable, and proactive person to join our team and work alongside with us as a second shooter for weddings. We would love someone who is creative with an outgoing personality that isn’t afraid to take initiative, and has a passion for photography. We really value creativity and a personal style that will be cohesive with our style of wedding photography.

Experience in wedding photography is a plus. Applicants are expected to have an eye for detail and good compositional skills. You must own a professional grade camera body with professional camera lenses, and a good flash. Canon is preferred. An ideal candidate is able to take direction well, work in a fast paced environment, and interact pleasantly with other photographers and our clients. A reliable vehicle and a willingness to travel some distances is important. It is also important that you can be expected to be available most Fridays-Sundays during the peak season.

There is potential for further growth within the company and an increased quantity of events/jobs .

This is a paid contracted position, based on workflow and availability. Second shooters will first go through an un-paid training period before they are expected to participate on a full wedding.

Kindly respond to Nadine@lovemedophotography.com with your resume, contact information, links to your work and a link to a full wedding you have photographed if possible.

We would also love for you to answer the following questions:

1. Tell us something about yourself! What makes you perfect for this job?

2. What kind of work do you currently do?

3. How would you explain your photographic aesthetic and style?

4. What would you say are your strengths in terms of personality and photography skills?

5. Please list your equipment that you own. Include camera bodies, lenses and flash units.

Thanks! We are very excited to grow our team!!

Summer/Fall 2013 Internship Opportunity!

Love Me Do Photography is now looking for Summer and Fall interns!

This is an un-paid position, with the opportunity of paid freelance work on occasion.

Interns will be expected to help with marketing/communications for the studio, as well as some administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, setting up and breaking down equipment, and maintaining our website, blog, and social media sites.

Interns will have the opportunity to assist on photo shoots both in and out of the studio, as well as minor photo editing.

Experience in photography is preferred, but not necessary. An interest in Wedding or Commercial Photography is a must. Basic Photoshop skills are a must. Most of all, a willingness to learn and motivation are key. Also, a good attitude and a fun personality!

Interns will learn the ins and outs of running a photography studio, network and marketing skills, and will have hand-on experience working with clients, other local businesses, and fellow artists around Philadelphia.

Please send a resume and cover letter, and a sample of photography related work if you have any, website links preferred, or web sized images via e-mail to carina@lovemedophotography.com

Such an exciting day! Amanda and John made beer koozies with their wedding logo from LoveLeigh Invitations. Vintage wooden chairs and cake stands from Maggpie Vintage Rentals. Friends Whitney made the animal head boutonnieres, Catherine designed the print on the men’s ties, and Ben provided his homemade barbecue sauce. The night ended in bonfires and s’mores roasting. Yay!

This wedding is very special for us because one of Love Me Do Photography’s very own, Amanda, got married this summer! Amanda and John’s wedding took place at Tall Timber Barn in the Poconos. We were all very excited to experience and photograph this wedding. Amanda wore an incredible Ivy and Aster dress from Lovely Bridal, NYC. Flowers from Love ‘n Fresh Flowers and filmed by Tree of Life Films. Part 2 of this wedding coming tomorrow!
